My lovely and most generous neighbour came by this morning to try on my teeny-tiny size 6-8 and size 8-10 bee-keeper dresses. We decided that while we were at it an impromptu photo-shoot was a good idea. This beautiful girl is a part owner of the most amazing coffee shop in the south-west. It is called Chocolatte and If you are ever in old Dunsborough town I suggest you put a visit to this lovely cafe on your to-do list. Do not take your kids in there if you don't want them having any sugar. You will be the meanest person in the world.
I graded my bee-keeper pattern a while ago but I was yet to make up samples. So far I think that I have got the sizing right :) Thanks for everyone who has been waiting most patiently for me to get some made.
The bee-keeper is designed for a comfortable fit. This means that if you are a size 12 and you prefer a snug fit you could wear the size 10 or if you want an extra loose fit, size 14 will still be OK.
I am designing this so it suits lots of body shapes. It features an elastic casing on the waist at the back and drawstring at the front. I can also make this with a fuller and longer skirt and it looks gorgeous. Each one is made with it's own quirky details. Mix and match fabrics, lace and even cotton fringing. Hooray!
The pretty little capped sleeve dress with the lace hem will be a part of a big shop update next week and is a size 10... (just in case you were wondering)
Thanks for being my model today, Jessie, you lovely thing!
Happy Sunday everyone. Wherever you may be.
