a new dress... And a new give-away...

I know you are probably getting sick of my face. I promise I am not normally so narcissistic. Last night I stayed up and finished the new style of dress I have been working on, and it called for a photo shoot this morning.

During our photo-shoots I make my mum take about 6 million pictures so that I can get the odd few without my eyes closed, mouth open, arms flailing... you get the idea. I am pretty bossy about it too. This morning we had some beautiful light filtering in through the studio windows, so I am particularly happy with some of these shots. Thanks again mum. Living at home again does have lots of advantages.

I will make the new dress style available once I have made a few dozen of them and I know my skills are up to the challenge. You can keep an eye out for ready to ship pieces as they are made. FYI - the amazing organza flowers are c/o Fairytale flowers.

Yes! I know, best give-away ever! Do you remember my tale of the lottery socks?? Well I love my socks so much I bought a pair to give-away here. I have been meaning to arrange it for ages. Do you want them? Leave a comment and I will pick a winner on Sunday.  Easy.

Ciao! I hope you have a wonderful evening lined up.

Bec x

  23. It is very, very weird to hear lots of people talking about being cold while we in Northern Ireland have just had a heatwave ( well, by our standards, at least!). Having only JUST come out of our cold snap ( ie generally 9 or
10 months round here!), I would love your socks to look forward to wearing when our "summer" is over and to introduce them to the other side of the world... isn't the internet wonderful?

As for your dresses, dottydaisies has been singing your praises and I have started a little collection pot as I WANT ONE! Joanne in sunny Carrickfergus ( look it up on the map...)

  34. Oh socks?! SOCKS! I am having serious issues finding socks. Having big feet is apparently not very ladylike, so I have given over to wearing my man's socks just because all the ones I can find only go up to sz8. Now if your lovely socks happen to accommodate the *ahem* larger footed amongst us, then I am over here, waving my arm wildly! Lookie at me! The barefooted BigFoot!

But of course if your socks conform to the average, the mild, the meagre footed, then please, distribute amongst the (already) well-stocked socked. No bitterness here, oh no, none at all.
