Em's dress

I have been busy busy busy - sewing dresses for my market stall and for friends. This little number was made from a darling vintage tablecloth - one of the prettiest I have ever seen. I made it especially for my new friend Em. She tried it on today and she loves it - It even matches her new bike - Hooray!

I have decided that it is time to invest in a dressmakers dummy - I have almost 20 dresses ready for sale - but it is really hard to photograph a dress on a coat hanger.

Once again it is late, and its time for bed. I hope you are well and happy, wherever you are xox

this little naughty went to market

...and we didn't have much success. BUT it was a fun day, let me show you how our little stall looked.

I think that it looked really cute...

in fact, if it wasn't my store, I think i would have liked to have spent
some of my money here...

LOOK!!!  there is my naughty shorty!

little feet...

my precious little love...

This was my first market, and despite the lack of customers, I believe that I will definitely try again...

By the way, this week I will be listing dresses for sale in my etsy shop... What do you think?

And also by the way, did I tell you that I am engaged now...

So much going on! I think that everyone must be crazy busy, seeing as its nearly Christmas... and I still need to make a tonne of presents.

I hope you are happy and sane, wherever you are in the world.

P.s - love you my sis, hope you are enjoying all that winter snow in old London town

BIG Plans...

I think that these are so pretty. These are Quilts from Denyse Schmidt's "Denver" collection. I am wanting to do something similar for my own bed. I am collecting a few tea towels and rice bags and vintage cottons... I think mine will be a little less shabby chic.

Check out Denyse Schmidt's website here It is full of inspirational pics. I love her.
